Drama You Raise Up mengisahkan Do Yong-Sik (diperankan oleh Yoon Shi-Yoon) adalah pria berusia 31 tahun dengan beberapa masalah. Dia telah mempersiapkan diri untuk ujian pegawai negeri selama bertahun-tahun. Selama waktu tersebut, penampilan fisiknya telah memburuk.

Do Yong-Sik juga tidak berdaya. Dia memutuskan untuk pergi ke klinik urologi untuk mengatasi impotensinya. Di sana, secara tidak terduga Do Yong-Sik justru bertemu dengan cinta pertamanya, Lee Ru-Da (diperankan oleh Hani EXID). Dia bekerja di klinik sebagai ahli urologi.

Lee Ru-Da adalah seorang dokter ahli dengan penampilan cantik dan berasal dari latar belakang keluarga kaya. Dia berkencan dengan Do Ji-Hyeok (diperankan oleh Park Ki-Woong), yang bekerja sebagai psikiater. Pacarnya menjalankan klinik konseling psikologi.

Dia sombong ketika membahas tentang dirinya sendiri, yang membuat Lee Ru-Da ingin membalasnya dengan cara yang salah. Untuk menurunkan rasa percaya dirinya yang berlebihan, Lee Ru-Da membual tentang cinta pertamanya Do Yong-Sik kepada pacarnya. Suatu hari, cinta pertamanya Do Yong-Sik muncul di depannya. Tapi penampilannya benar-benar berbeda dari masa lalu mereka.
